Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first major honor of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
