Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Increases Bounty for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to £15,000
Wales football star Aaron Ramsey has raised the reward for leads regarding his vanished pet named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
the dog, who went missing on October 9th, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey shared a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any news concerning our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and comes home to our family shortly," Ramsey posted on social media.
Earlier Bounty and Emotional Pleas
The footballer first disclosed that his dog had disappeared a fortnight back and has since posted several photos of the beloved canine on Instagram.
A £7.5k reward was first offered, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the amount.
"We just want our pet home," he stated in a further plea on social media after the 10-year-old pet went missing.
The most recent image post is a black and white snapshot of Halo napping, her head resting in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you again sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
Ramsey has also posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have several "important concerns" regarding the event and are concerned the household "may never obtain explanations".
"We still haven't found our dog. I fear we ever will," his wife's post expressed.
The Welsh captain became part of Mexican top-flight team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly athlete is the pioneering prominent British player to participate in the Mexican league.
